MedComms Networking is a not-for-profit initiative building on the work of Peter Llewellyn which seeks to unite individuals and organisations involved in delivering health information. We will do this by listening and by delivering a weekly newsletter and regular online and in-person events. Our group welcomes writers, scientists, editors, educators, project managers, filmmakers, medical journalists, healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, and patient advocates from around the world to join us. The aim is to inform, educate and advance our profession and, ultimately, support patient care.

PRESENTATION AND NETWORKING - 12 JUNE - DUNDEE

Presentation and networking, University of Dundee (all welcome)

Medical communications is an exciting industry and offers a range of career opportunities. The primary focus is to create impactful communication programmes and educational materials that enhance the understanding of diseases and treatments among healthcare professionals and patients.

Working in a medical communications agency can be fast-paced and dynamic. At AMICULUM, we partner with pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology companies in some of the most complex and novel areas of medicine. With our range of clients and the wide variety of services we provide, no two days are the same.

Team members from AMICULUM, including members of our design and agency teams will be presenting a 'day in the life' on 12 June between 11:00 and 12:00 in the Murray Seminar Room, School of Life Sciences, highlighting what we do and providing guidance on how to start a career in medical communications. The team will also be on hand over lunch at our booth in The Street, School of Life Sciences to answer any questions you may have.
