MedComms Networking is a not-for-profit initiative building on the work of Peter Llewellyn which seeks to unite individuals and organisations involved in delivering health information. We will do this by listening and by delivering a weekly newsletter and regular online and in-person events. Our group welcomes writers, scientists, editors, educators, project managers, filmmakers, medical journalists, healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, and patient advocates from around the world to join us. The aim is to inform, educate and advance our profession and, ultimately, support patient care.

    Dr Tim Harman, Managing Director at Niche Science & Technology

    Tim describes himself as an indefatigable individual. Following many years working in clinical trials, research, and medical writing, he established Niche in 1998 in Richmond, London. UK. Tim's aim was to build a different type of company where talented scientists work on projects and manage client projects. Along the way he continues to be involved in education and academia. His drive and commitment have earned him success and respect in the world of medical communications.

    Dr Steven Walker, Managing Director, Stgilesmedical London & Berlin

    Steven is a gifted medical writer, researcher, and educator. He has degrees in medicine, education, and clinical oncology gained during time in the UK, USA, and Germany. He leads the award-winning team at Stgilesmedical in London and Berlin. The company has a reputation for the successful delivery of challenging projects, notably where medical knowledge, scientific understanding and writing skills are required. Recent activities have focused on education, research, social enterprise, and the delivery of short health films. The Stgilesmedical Team is proud to provide pro-bono support for under and postgraduate student, research, and charitable activities. Steven is a tutor at the University of Applied Sciences (Apollon Hochschule) in Bremen, Germany. He holds an Honorary Lectureship at University College London and is secretary and trustee of a health charity.
