MedComms Networking is a not-for-profit initiative building on the work of Peter Llewellyn which seeks to unite individuals and organisations involved in delivering health information. We will do this by listening and by delivering a weekly newsletter and regular online and in-person events. Our group welcomes writers, scientists, editors, educators, project managers, filmmakers, medical journalists, healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, and patient advocates from around the world to join us. The aim is to inform, educate and advance our profession and, ultimately, support patient care.

    CAREERS EVENT - 1 JULY 2014 - LONDON

This was the fifth time we have run this event in London. Once again we had an enthusiastic audience of post-docs and DPhil/PhD students and others from the biomedical sciences departments within and around London and from other Universities, who met with a number of medical communications professionals for a highly engaging session which presented medical writing and account management in MedComms as attractive career options.

We explained how areas of the UK such as Oxfordshire, London and Cheshire are home to numerous leading medical communications agencies that serve the global pharmaceutical industry... and they're crying out for good staff!
