    IN-PERSON CAREERS EVENT - 22 JUNE 2023 - BIRMINGHAM

    FirstMedCommsJob: Introduction to MedComms

Once again we had a large enthusiastic audience to meet with representatives from leading medical communications employers that serve the global pharmaceutical industry. It was a highly engaging session that demonstrated how MedComms offers attractive career options. We provided insights into the working lives of medical writers, editors, account managers and others across the specialist business. It was a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with MedComms specialists and to ask questions.

These agencies are looking for individuals with:

  • a genuine enthusiasm for science and its application to the world of medicine
  • the ability to work independently within a small-team environment.

MedComms can literally take you all over the world and provides attractive long-term career pathways.

    Date: Thursday 22 June 2023

    Venue:

The Medical School, University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 2TT [Directions here]

Note: Wherever possible we would advise visitors to the University to travel by public transport. Public car parking is limited and can be problematic. The University train station is directly opposite the Medical School entrance and is well served by regular trains coming from Birmingham New Street station, just a few minutes ride away.
