    As I write this, I'm preparing for #MedComms Day on 9 June. Will you be joining in?

    It's our annual celebration of a day in the life of #MedComms.

    And, frankly, it already feels a little out of control here at "mission control"!

    Hey ho. I will survive. But it looks like it will be busy.

    And it'll all kick off in New Zealand when they wake in just a few hours.

    If nothing else, everyone please wake up in the morning and shout "Happy #MedComms Day" on your favourite social media platform.

    We've a number of events, though, for everyone to join in with, that cross the time zones. See the timetable here.

    And there's so much more happening. Please join in. Wherever in are world you are.

    You'll already see posts appearing across the social media platforms and hints of what's to come.

    This is my 10th and final #MedComms Day. It's exhausting, but fun. I believe it helps draw useful attention to our global community and the valuable work we do. I've no idea what, if anything, will happen next year, though there are some ideas kicking around. Meanwhile, let's make this one bigger and better than ever. Happy #MedComms Day 2021 everyone!

    P.S. If there's just one message I'd like to get clear as we start then it's to please use hashtag #MedComms - I know there will be variations used, but it's really important to try to get everyone using #MedComms so we amplify the message and everyone can follow the conversation.
