MedComms Networking - 04 October 2022
Hi
After a challenging couple of weeks, we're now back to full strength for our rescheduled event, Working in and around #MedComms on 10 November at Heathrow, with 38 exhibitors providing a unique opportunity to learn about careers in and around #MedComms. Quite remarkably, we've managed to move more or less the entire programme with very little change. Yesterday, Ogilvy Heath confirmed they can join in to replace the only exhibitor that was unable to move. So, we are now focused on rebuilding the number of delegates. Please spread the word and encourage anyone who wants to learn more about careers in and around MedComms to join us. If they can't join us on the day, they can use the free online resources meanwhile.
So, let's hear a great big shout out for all the following #MedComms leaders: AMICULUM, Ashfield MedComms, Aspire Scientific, AXON, Bioscript, Certara Insight, Costello Medical, dna, DIVERSE., Edelman, EMWA, Envision Pharma Group, Fishawack Health, gCMEP, Healthware Medcomms, Helios Global Group, imc group, inScience Communications, Inspired Science, IPG Health Medical Communications, IQVIA, ISMPP, Langland, LiNK Health Group, Lumanity, Media Contacts, NexGen Healthcare Communications, nspm, Nucleus Global, Ogilvy Health, Omnicom Health Group, OPEN Health, Oxford PharmaGenesis, Pharmiweb.Jobs, Prime Global, Syneos Health Communications, touch Independent Medical Education and Virgo Health. Kudos, one and all.
It's altogether much easier to run a webinar! We can all join those from wherever in the world we are. And our free, weekly, #MedComms webinars start again tomorrow. Everyone's welcome. Please help spread the word. If you miss the live events, then the recordings are posted as quickly as possible afterwards at NetworkPharma.tv for you to catch up whenever you like.
We start tomorrow with How to embed inclusion and diversity into everyday work practices in MedComms. Join Sheena Amin-Liebman (Director of Diversity & Inclusion) to hear about how the D&I team was built up, how Fishawack Health have introduced mandatory training in this area and how to cultivate an inclusive workplace fit for everyone, now and in years to come. Sheena will be joined on the panel by her colleagues, Kirsty Wear (Global Head of Talent) and Tristan Varela (Medical Copywriter). And, as always, we answer questions from the audience. Please, join us.
And next week should be fun! And provide plenty of food for thought for all of us. Are event planners zombies? How to design and measure more sustainable events will feature Matt Grey, founder of event:decision, who will use real-life examples to show you how both pharma and other B2B brands are approaching understanding and measuring the impacts of their event programmes.
Matt authored this article recently, along with Mark Handforth, Creating sustainable congresses - the 12 tips you must know.
But join us next week if you can. Matt's got some great stories, of the good, the bad, and the ugly!
Better still, gather your team, share some cake, and listen together. Afterwards turn around and discuss how your own activities might/should change.
There's lots more coming. Stay well, everyone.
Cheers
