    MedComms Networking - 25 January 2022

    Hi

15 years! #MedComms Networking has been an adventure. Here's a huge shout out from us, to all of you. Teddy's been with me since the start, Ted the pup for the last 5 years. It's been a privilege to see the global #MedComms community grow. Kudos everyone.

Is it really only 5 years since we celebrated our 10th birthday with a cracking party in Oxford? Who remembers us joining in with two social media fads at the time, "doing the dab" and the "mannequin challenge"? Who says #MedComms folks can't have good time! Tag who you can spot in the video in this LinkedIn post here.

Today, though, I am planning for a long, socially distanced lunch with Teddy and Ted.

Here's hoping for a few more years yet.

If you have 30 seconds, then please give Ted some support and shout out "Happy Birthday #MedComms" here on LinkedIn or on your own favourite social media platform.

If you have 30 minutes, then please share your #MedComms story. It's easy. And you've all got a tale to tell. Download the Storyvine App now and simply follow the instructions.

See all the #MedComms stories here, on NetworkPharma.tv.

A few days ago, Jackie Marchington, EVP, Director of Global Operations at Caudex recorded hers. Say hi to Jackie.

Yesterday, Amanda Mao, Freelance Bilingual Chinese Medical Communication Expert recorded hers. Say hi to Amanda.

And Rebecca Douglas, Group Programme Director, Talent at McCann Health Medical Communications has just recorded hers, this morning. Say hi to Rebecca.

Can we get some more posted this week? Download the Storyvine App now and simply follow the instructions.

Meanwhile, we'll get back to business as usual shortly. Our weekly #MedComms webinars start again next month. Every Wednesday through into the Summer if I can find the stamina.

First up, Len Starnes leads our discussion on 2 February, Medical Society Conferences: What we learnt in 2021, what might happen in 2022. Everyone's welcome.

Here's some relevant reading material from PMLive this week, Superstar congresses and conferences will stay centre stage but now share the limelight with virtual and hybrid events. Any thoughts, anyone?

    There's lots more coming.

Stay well, everyone and I'll end today with a big shout out to the crowd at this week's (virtual) ISMPP Europe meeting. Sorry I can't join you. But lunch beckons.

    Cheers
